Connect the HotelMinder API

A ten-minute walkthrough for the property owner or IT lead. Follow the steps once and every ThaiHotelMinder advisory module you subsequently activate connects automatically.

Step 1 — Confirm ownership

Only the owner or admin of the HotelMinder workspace can generate an API key. If you are not the owner, ask your general manager or head of distribution to complete this guide with you.

Step 2 — Open the API-access screen

Log in to hotelminder.com, navigate to Directory → Settings → API access. This screen lists any existing keys and their permissions.

Step 3 — Generate a read-only key

Click "Generate new key". Name it "ThaiHotelMinder read-only". Enable only the read scopes required (reservations, rate_plans, distribution, guest_profiles, reports). Do not enable any write scope.

Step 4 — Copy once

HotelMinder shows the key value exactly once. Copy it. Do not paste into email or chat — paste it directly into the next step.

Step 5 — Paste into ThaiHotelMinder

Log into your ThaiHotelMinder workspace. Settings → Connected HotelMinder workspace. Paste the key. Connection is tested against a Bangkok endpoint immediately.

Step 6 — Wait for the first sync

The first data pull runs within 15 minutes. A green ◆ marker appears next to the workspace name when reservations, rate plans and channels are indexed.

Step 7 — Enable your modules

From the Catalogue tab, click Activate on each purchased module. First advisory pack arrives within 24 hours.
